Che Gossett is a black queer & non binary writer, from 2021-2024 they were a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia Law School, and a 2022-2024 fellow at Harvard Law School. Che is the recipient of a 2024 Creative Capital Andy Warhol Writers Grant. They are co-editor, with Tavia Nyong’o, of a forthcoming special issue of Social Textjournal on Sylvia Wynter and the question of technology. Their forthcoming work includes an essay on blackness and auto-theory in the Cambridge Companion to Autofiction.

Che is currently serving as the Associate Director of the Center for Research in Feminist, Queer and Transgender Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Che hosts a podcast on black thought, feminist, queer & trans arts and/ or culture — where they have interviewed scholars, poets, artists and writers including Maggie Nelson, Lilly Wachowski, Zackary Drucker, Daphne Brooks, Jack Halberstam, Judith Butler, Kellie Jones, Huey Copeland, Gayatri Spivak, and Paul Gilroy.
