Robert Beatty, the illustrator and designer behind the iconic cover art for Tame Impala’s Currents will be hosting a screening and artist talk for Experimental Animation Visiting Artists (EAVA). Beatty’s distinctive airbrush style has shaped contemporary visual culture through his work for artists such as Kesha and The Weeknd. Drawing inspiration from vintage graphics, science fiction illustration, psychedelic design, experimental animation, and video art, Beatty also creates experimental films and performs electronic music under the names Ed Sunspot and Hair Police.
