Madeline Lane-Mckinley is a parent, educator, and feminist writer based in Portland, Oregon. Her books include Solidarity with Children: An Essay Against Adult SupremacyComedy Against Work: Utopian Longing in Dystopian TimesFag/Hag; and Dear Z.  She is an editor for Blind Field: A Journal of Cultural Inquiry
 
Madeline’s writing has appeared in publications such as the Los Angeles Review of Books, Boston Review, The New Inquiry, Entropy Magazine, Lux Magazine, Post-45 Contemporaries, and Cultural Politics. She is also a contributor to The Museum of Capitalism. Her next book, The Return of the ‘90s: A Cultural History of the Present, is a co-edited essay collection forthcoming from Pluto Press in June 2026.
