Stephen Chiodo, director, stop motion animator, and creature builder, will give a screening and artist talk for Experimental Animation Visiting Artists. His practice spans puppets, practical effects, and character work across film and television. He animated Tim Burton’s early short Vincent, created sequences for Peewee’s Big Adventure, Elf, The Simpsons, and Marcel The Shell, and made the short Cricket, which received recognition at Cannes. He also co-directed Killer Klowns From Outer Space with his brothers at their studio.
