Anna Webber is a flutist, saxophonist, and composer known for her work that blends avant-garde jazz and new classical music. She leads several groups, including her Simple Trio, and has received numerous prestigious awards, such as a 2018 Guggenheim Fellowship and the 2022 Herb Alpert Award. Webber has also been repeatedly recognized in the Downbeat Critic’s Poll as a “Rising Star” for her saxophone, flute, and arranging work.
