Join us for a special artist talk in the Experimental Animation Installation class featuring Ivaylo Getov.

Ivaylo Getov is a Los Angeles-based interactive producer/director and media artist specializing in technical direction, interaction design, and software development for public-facing digital installations and experiential media. His practice focuses on building technology-driven experiences that bring people together through real-time systems and responsive environments.

From 2015 to 2019, he co-founded Luxloop, a NY/LA creative technology studio, where he led technology direction and developed interactive stories and installations with artists, museums, and brands. He is currently Head of Interactive at Dandelion + Burdock and also works as a roaming technical director on fine-art projects.

Technically, his work includes deep experience with Unity and TouchDesigner, as well as Unreal Engine, openFrameworks, and physical computing workflows (including Raspberry Pi and Arduino) for sensor- and hardware-integrated installations.
