Uncover the hidden ecosystem living right alongside us on campus. A BioBlitz is a collective nature walk where we explore together, photograph local plants, insects, birds, and fungi, and build a living visual archive of our shared environment.
We will be using iNaturalist, a free app that works like Shazam for nature. Simply snap a photo of any plant or bug you spot, and the app uses image recognition and expert crowdsourcing to identify the species for you. No biology background or prior experience is needed, just download the free iNaturalist app beforehand and bring your phone.
