New COVID Response and Implementation Team Leadership

Executive Director of Health and Wellness Dr. Elizabeth Peisner has assumed the role of COVID Compliance Officer and leadership of the COVID Response and Implementation Team (CRIT). You can reach the CRIT team with comments or questions at covidcompliance@calarts.edu.

Please note, if you test positive for COVID, please contact covidcompliance@calarts.edu or via the LiveSafe app for appropriate next steps.

Booster Shot Clinic

CalArts requires that all faculty, staff, and students be fully vaccinated and required to receive a vaccine booster by Feb. 28, 2022. CalArts requires boosters be received six months after an individual received the final dose of the original vaccination, whichever is later. Those who received the J&J vaccine should already be eligible for the booster (eligibility is two months after your initial dose).

We all need to do our part to keep the campus safe. An on-campus clinic is available this week, Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 10 am to 2 pm in the Main Gallery.

On-campus FREE COVID-19 Testing

Testing will take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30 am to 2 pm just outside of CalArts' main entrance. (This is a new location as of Jan. 17). Signs will direct you to the test site. Please register for a COVID test in advance. Please note, you only need to enter your information one time and then it will be stored for subsequent test dates. If you do not register in advance, you are required to bring your insurance information with you to receive a test. If you don’t see your test results from Nobility one hour after your COVID test, please call Nobility at 818-600-4731 to get your results.
