The CalArts School of Film/Video presents a juried selection of innovative and experimental student films from the Film and Video Program.

The Bijou Festival is the School of Film/Video’s end-of-year film festival that screens any and all work submitted and made by Film/Video students during the academic school year. During this week of film screenings, there are also parties and events to celebrate works made by the community throughout the year.

This program presents a glimpse into the wild and varied work of the graduating class of CalArts’ MFA Creative Writing Program, featuring the incredible range of experimentation that characterizes the literary accomplishment of students in the program. Come celebrate the grit and imagination of the class of 2026! 

CalArts Expo is a one-day immersive event that showcases interdisciplinary creative work from the CalArts community, ranging from BFA students to internationally renowned faculty and alumnx creators.

Join us for a special on-campus presentation of the 2026 CalArts Actors Showcase on Thursday, May 14, at 6 pm in the MOD, featuring the graduating BFA and MFA students from the CalArts School of Theater. 

After the performance, come celebrate at our reception in Langley at 7:30 pm.

Join us at CalArts at The Reef for an evening of exhibitions + performances by current artists-in-residence along with works by CalArts MFA grads plus CalArts BFA undergraduates. Paid parking available on-site.

The CalArts BFA Class of 2026 opens High Pass, at CalArts at the Reef, the Institute’s new cultural platform and venue in Downtown Los Angeles. This postgraduate group exhibition features work by 29 artists, all recent graduates of the CalArts School of Art’s BFA program in Art, and Photo Media.
