To enroll at CalArts, you'll need to take care of a few more things. You may need to log in to your CalArts SSO account in order to complete these items. You can find your temporary CalArts Credentials at apply.calarts.edu/apply/status, and login at sso.calarts.edu to reset your temporary password. If you need help, you can consult this guide for new students.
Accepted Student Event Microsite
Our Online Accepted Student Event occurred on Saturday, April 9, but you can still view recordings of webinar sessions, welcome videos, student work, and more at the event microsite: ase.calarts.edu
Enrollment Deposit and Decision Reply Form
If you intend to accept your offer of admission and enroll at CalArts, you will need to submit your non-refundable $700 enrollment deposit and your decision reply form by the deadline stated on your admission letter. To do so, log in to the Application Portal. Contact your admission representative for more questions.
Access to CalArts Email Account
After you place your tuition deposit and submit your decision reply form, you will be assigned your CalArts email.
Housing Deposit & Application
The Housing Application is due on May 20. Apply through your SSO Account after you place your tuition deposit and are assigned your CalArts email. Click on "Symplicity - Residence" to find the application. A $350 deposit is required in order to apply. Please see our Residential Life site for more information on our housing options and how to apply.
Please note that proof of Meningitis vaccination must be submitted before being allowed to move into campus Residential spaces. See below under "Immunization Forms" for more information.
Transcript Requirements, Transfer Credit, and Credit by Examination
In an effort to keep our community healthy, all students are required to have an immunization record on file with the Student Health Center which includes MMR, Tuberculosis, and Meningitis vaccinations. Immunization records are submitted through our HIPAA compliant platform, Medicat, located on your CalArts SSO account. Meningitis proof must be submitted before being allowed to move into campus Residential spaces. For more information, visit our Health Services section.

International Students Next Steps
Your first step towards attending CalArts is to submit your tuition deposit and decision reply form at apply.calarts.edu/apply/status.
A few days after you pay the tuition deposit, you will receive information by email about the student visa application process. For an F-1 visa, you will be required to verify that you have sufficient funds to meet tuition and living expenses while studying in the United States.

Pre-Orientation Videos about on-campus employment, Driver License, and U.S Healthcare are also available on the International Students HUB page.
In-Person Check-In is required for ALL new international students starting a new program at CalArts for Fall 2022. For most students, this can be done during the required International Student Orientation on September 2nd. For students who wish to check in early, there will be early check-in times available.

Looking for an on-campus job?
On-campus jobs are posted on the CalArts Jobs portal Compass. You can view and apply for positions that are currently hiring by clicking on "Jobs" and use the “position type filter” then select Student Employment or Student Employment Federal Work Study. You may also want to ask in your school's main office and other campus offices that interest you about any job opportunities they may have open.
