Access to CalArts Email Accounts
In order to strengthen the security and privacy of CalArts’ information systems, CalArts Information Technology Department (CAIT) was tasked at the beginning of the year to implement 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) in order to better protect sensitive information. Because of a compliance and insurance issue, CAIT needed to implement this new security layer by the first week of March.
Access to email (both @calarts.edu and @alum.calarts.edu), the Colleague system, and Self-Service will be managed by the new CalArts Single Sign-On (SSO) solution. This system includes an extra layer of security and privacy protection in the form of 2-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Note: you will need to re-log in on all devices, including mobile. You will be diverted to the SSO page at the end instead of the Google page.
