CalArts MA Aesthetics and Politics Program recently announced that Anthropologist and Critical Theorist Elizabeth A. Povinelli from Columbia University will be the 2020 Theorist in Residence; and Literary Scholar and Cultural Historian Saidiya Hartman, also from Columbia University, will be the program's Theorist in Residence in 2021.
