CalArts presents the seventh issue of The Pool alumni magazine. The feature stories include a tribute to the late, legendary artist and teacher John Baldessari by his former student, the artist James Welling; a look into "CalArts Collaborates," a class of Graphic Design and School of Film/Video students who are collaborating with the World Resources Institute to search for artistic solutions for our oceans in crisis; and an examination of how CalArts faculty and classes shifted and changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
