With the recent spread of coronavirus across our region, we regret to inform you that out of an abundance of caution, The CalArts Gala at REDCAT, scheduled for March 21, has been postponed.
While there are no known cases of the virus in the CalArts community, we are acting upon the guidance of the California Department of Public Health regarding large events. Our first priority is to the health and safety of the CalArts and Los Angeles communities.
The CalArts Gala at REDCAT will be rescheduled and we will let you know the details as information becomes available. Thank you for your continued generosity. We recognize that your philanthropy strengthens CalArts’s community of artists and provides critical funding for REDCAT’s important and adventurous programming. During challenging times like these, your generosity acts as a model for how we should support each other and, for that, we thank you.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this postponement may cause for you, however, your health and the health of our entire community is of paramount importance to us and we believe that this prudent step is necessary to help ensure that we are doing our part to assist in preventing further spread of coronavirus.
