The Institute strives to support our alumni community with a multitude of professional development programs to help foster growth and community.

We find presenters as well as facilitate alumni-to-alumni talks. We welcome you to share your expertise on a particular topic with fellow CalArtians. Past topics include how to pitch your script, social media for artists, and maintaining your creative vision while managing professional relationships.

Workshops are presented on a volunteer basis and are hosted in Los Angeles or virtually. Presentations run 45 minutes with an additional 15-30 minutes for Q & A. Your workshop may be live streamed or recorded to share with the CalArts community. The Alumnx Office presents 2-4 Peer Knowledge Share Workshops a year and will move forward with complete submissions that best fit the needs and requests of the community.
