Music Faculty Member Anne LeBaron Receives CEC ArtsLink Award

Anne LeBaron, has received an award of $8300 from CEC ArtsLink, an international arts service organization supporting exchange between the United States and Eastern and Central Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus. The award will support the creation of The Silent Steppe Cantata, a large-scale sonic portrait of the Republic of Kazakhstan featuring Kazakh tenor, Timur Bekbosunov; the Koktem Children’s Choir; and Orchestra Otyrar Sazy; along with Peruvian filmmaker, Sandra Powers.
