The presentation will be followed by participatory breakout discussions of key areas of focus. A reception with light refreshments will close out the evening.

With CalArts’ long-term institutional Strategic Framework as a foundation, President Rajan will introduce the Institute’s 2023-2024 Strategic Priorities Roadmap, which articulates our institutional goals, objectives, and key actions for the current academic and fiscal year. Following the president’s overview, members of the Institute’s senior leadership will provide additional insight related to the 10 areas of focus outlined in the Roadmap, such as Academic, Students, and Facilities and Technology (summaries and key actions related to all 10 areas are outlined in the document).
Following the presentation, we'll break into smaller discussion groups, in which attendees can ask questions, have conversations, and share ideas with each other and members of the administration and Institute Council on the areas of focus that most interest them.
A reception with refreshments will follow in the Main Building lobby just outside the Lund.
A recording of the presentations (but not the breakout discussions) will be available later on the Hub.
