Josh Kornbluth, monologuist, will be doing an autobiographical monologue on the subject of empathy using story to explore brain function. Josh has been doing autobiographical monologues for over three decades. 

He has also written and starred in two feature films, Haiku Tunnel and Love & Taxes, both directed by his brother Jacob Kornbluth. For two years he hosted The Josh Kornbluth Show at KQED, San Francisco's public television station. For the past several years he has been a Senior Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute, based at UCSF, and has been both performing and making videos about brain science and social justice, under the title Citizen Brain (citizenbrain.org). 

Josh lives in Berkeley with his wife, a retired schoolteacher; their son recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz, majoring in filmmaking. You can find Josh at joshkornbluth.com.
