THEATER: Written by Elfriede Jelinek | Translated by Gitta Honegger | Directed by Blake Harris

"But I was the foam on the dreams of others, strangers. Countless strangers. How strange. How could I have achieved more? By becoming the dreams themselves?"

Jackie, by controversial Nobel Prize winning playwright Elfriede Jelinek, is an intensely theatrical dissection of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and the myths surrounding her well-coiffed vaneer. Taking place in the labyrinth of Jackie's mind, the piece is a disturbing exploration of submission, power, celebrity, and the hypocrisy of every day life. Digging past the cultural facade and into the paradox that is Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, this is an exciting Los Angeles premier of Jelinek's 2005 play.
