Zak Kyes is a Swiss-American creative director and founder of Zak Group. He graduated from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). As a teenager he discovered the work of the Bauhaus-trained designer Herbert Bayer, whose hybrid body of work fused art, graphic design and architecture. This formative model, combined with contemporary art and culture, has informed Kyes’ collaborative, interdisciplinary practice. He founded Zak Group in 2005 where he leads a wide range of cultural and commercial projects.
