ELECTRIC FIELDS: a multimedia concert experience on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Walt Disney Concert Hall featuring soprano Barbara Hannigan and the Labeque Sisters (you can learn more about the program here). Inspired by the cosmic compositions and contemplations of medieval polymath Hildegard von Bingen, the concert interweaves works by women composers throughout history including von Bingen and Renaissance composers Barbara Strozzi and Francesca Caccini, as well as contributions by electronic musician David Chalmin and the National's Bryce Dessner.
