Open to all CalArts students. Following the success of his first writing workshop with students, one of the most prominent Latinx playwrights in America returns for a second student writing workshop. Octavio Solis is a writer and director whose plays have been produced at theaters across the country, including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Yale Rep, Denver Center, San Diego Rep, and Gala Hispanic Theatre of Washington D.C. He is on campus this month conducting a CNP/Duende CalArts workshop for his new play "Scene with Cranes" with director Chi-wang Yang.
