In a groundbreaking performance spectacle that merges theater and film,
Fantômas resurrects the iconic criminal of French serials to confront the effects of urban terror on contemporary life. Eschewing traditional theater seating, Fantômas puts the audience in an enclosed unit that moves through space like a rolling camera, and the audience views the performance through an aperture of changing dimensions.
Fantômas: Revenge of the Image received its world premiere in October 2017 at the Wuzhen Theatre Festival in China.
