Natalia Korczakowska is recognized as one of the most exciting theater artists emerging from Eastern Europe. Artistic Director of Teatr Studio in Warsaw, Korczakowska’s practice encompasses theater direction, design, and songwriting. She is collaborating with student designers and performers on a new project based on the works of Polish playwright, novelist, and painter Stanisław Witkiewicz. Exploring Wikiewicz’s acting method of “Pure Form,” Koczakowska and the team will begin the early stages of development for a project based on his play, Metaphysics of a Two-Headed Calf.
