Hauser & Wirth gallery in Downtown Los Angeles welcomes 30 student dancers from The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at CalArts to present HUMAN within the public spaces of the gallery. Comprised of multiple solos performed simultaneously, HUMAN explores one’s individuality through articulations of the singular dancer within the midst of a collective group. The piece, created in text through email exchanges, lives in language as much as through the movements of its dancers. HUMAN was created by Dimitri Chamblas, dean of the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance.
