Anders Engberg-Pedersen is director of Nordic Humanities Center – University of Copenhagen and University of Southern Denmark, professor of comparative literature – University of Southern Denmark, and chair of humanities at the Danish Institute of Advanced Study. His research covers 18th-21th-century literature (German, French, Russian, Scandinavian) with a particular focus on war; the history and poetics of knowledge; cartography; intersections of literature and philosophy. His latest book, War and Aesthetics: Art, Technology, and the Futures of War is forthcoming from MIT Press, 2024.
