• Ravi S. Rajan

  President

  Ravi S. Rajan joined CalArts in 2017 as its fourth president. After pursuing degrees in education and music, and teaching in the public schools of Norman, Oklahoma, he lived and worked in New York City for more than 16 years. His work is globally recognized for its innovation and visionary direction seen through his leadership, teaching, aesthetic judgement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

  

• Michael Bryant

  Interim Provost

  Mike Bryant (he/him) is an educator, a biologist, and a statistician. His research on behavioral and evolutionary ecology has appeared in prominent science journals such as Science, Nature, American Naturalist, Ecology, PLoS, and Animal Behaviour. His education research has appeared in the Journal of Educational Psychology and in Art Documentation.
