We know that balancing all the parts of school and life can be challenging. If you’re also worried about where your next meal is coming from, we want to help.
Student Affairs has resources and support, but we can only help if you let us know what’s going on. We encourage you to reach out so we can work together to find a solution.
We have a number of ways to help students experiencing long- or short-term food insecurity:
Meal plan support: If you’re struggling to cover on-campus dining, we can help you find a meal plan that works for you. Please contact studentaffairs@calarts.edu for more information.
One-time food vouchers: Need a little extra help to get through the week? You can pick up a one-time voucher at the Student Affairs Office (F305).
Emergency funds: We can provide financial support for urgent, food-related needs. Please contact studentaffairs@calarts.edu for more information.
Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry partnership: The SCV Food Pantry is on campus the last Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Clark’s Field to provide free groceries and resources.
You’re not alone, and your well-being matters, but we can’t help if we don’t know you need it. The most important step is reaching out to us.
