Homestay

The students contract with a company, which places them with a family where they may rent a room. Some could also include meals. Some has airport pick up services with a fee.Students benefit from such arrangement at first, then they may choose to move out and find a different accommodations in the next semester.

Apartments

Renting a whole apartment or a room from a condominium or townhouse is another possibility. There are several apartment complexes very close to CalArts. Some are within walking distance, but keep in mind that Santa Clarita city blocks can be large and locations are a bit more spread out. Public transportation is available and bicycle lanes make it easier and safer to travel.
