Lloyd first worked for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company and later became executive director of the Los Angeles nonprofit My Friend’s Place, a low-barrier drop-in shelter for homeless youth in Hollywood. He has worked for Capital Group for the past 20 years.

Lloyd serves on the board of directors of My Friend’s Place, a CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP) partner, the board of directors of the Santa Monica Symphony, and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee for the Venice Family Clinic.
