Originally from Massachusetts, Samuel Wolken moved to LA after a decade living in Oakland. He studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, majoring in Painting and Printmaking and is currently studying to gain structural and aerospace welding certifications D1.1 and D7.1.  

In addition to his roles as instructor and welder, Samuel is a showing gallery artist, with presentations in galleries including GoodMother Gallery, First Amendment Gallery SF, SWIM Gallery, Super Chief LA, the Juxtapoze Clubhouse Denver, and others.
