Richard Molina is the founder and design director of ANIMOL, a studio composed of diverse thinkers who provoke critical and analytical approaches to research and design tools. The studio explores the unique qualities of each project, reimagining creative possibilities, initiatives, and solutions across various scales. In addition to his practice, Richard has taught extensively at a range of institutions, including the New School of Architecture and Design, Woodbury University San Diego, SCI-Arc, CalArts, and Cal Poly Pomona. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and as Faculty in the School of Theater at CalArts. He is an active member of the Association for Women in Architecture and Design (AWA+D) and ambassador for the Nature Art & Habitat Residency (NAHR). Richard holds a BFA in Interior Design from San Jose State University (SJSU) and a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
