Nicholas Butera is a game designer, a creative leader, and an educator who has gained more than 15 years’ experience in the fields of games, animation, interactive entertainment, and emerging technology; he is now Chief Product Officer at AGIS, a position in which he is responsible for the product and creative development of Platform, a new cross-device game creation ecosystem.

Nicholas enjoys exploring the connection between game design, creativity, technology, and play, especially how accessible tools can help more people turn ideas into reality. In his role as an educator, he likes to help students turn their creative ideas into playable experiences and develop practical, real-world game development skills.
