JessieAnna Wilton is a professional theatre maker, educator, and lifelong lover of making things come to life. Her multidisciplinary practice spans theatrical set design, scenic art, props, puppetry, and costume design—blending craftsmanship, imagination, and a deep appreciation for the collaborative magic of live performance.
An alumna of the CalArts MFA Scenic Painting program and a proud member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 800, JessieAnna has spent more than two decades bringing her professional expertise to stages and creative spaces throughout Los Angeles and beyond. Her work has been seen at The Getty, the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and REDCAT, as well as in dozens of Cheesecake Factory restaurants around the world. Along the way, she has had the pleasure of collaborating with artists and organizations including Culture Clash, About…Productions, Carlos Santana, and LA Propoint.
At the heart of JessieAnna’s work is a passion for sharing the craft. For 19 years, she has taught Design and Production at the Los Angeles High School of the Arts, where she brings real-world industry experience directly into the classroom. Her teaching is rooted in hands-on making, creative problem-solving, and the belief that great design is rarely created in isolation—it grows through curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration. She holds a National Board Certification in Career Technical Education.
Whether she’s painting a world into existence, building a puppet from scratch, solving a scenic puzzle, or encouraging the next generation of artists to take creative risks, JessieAnna is happiest somewhere between the blueprint and the magic.
