Jayden Ostler is a Los Angeles–based pianist, music director, arranger, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose career is defined by versatility, discovery, and a passion for collaborating with others. Originally from Billings, Montana, Jayden has spent years performing and creating music in a wide range of settings, including symphony orchestras, musical theatre productions, chamber and choral ensembles, jazz combos, commercial bands, churches, and solo performances.

His musical journey began with training in classical piano, before discovering jazz—an experience that transformed his artistic perspective and opened the door to a lifelong exploration of diverse musical traditions. Since then, he has immersed himself in styles including funk, soul, gospel, blues, reggae, rock, pop, musical theatre, Afro-Latin, country, folk, neo-soul, and many others. This passion for musical diversity has led him to perform in venues across multiple countries. As a performer and collaborator, Jayden’s work spans music directing, leading rehearsals, arranging and composing, improvisation, collaborative piano, recording and production, sight-reading for auditions, vocal coaching, choral singing, orchestral performance on French horn, and performance on Hammond organ, synthesizers, and electric keyboards. His diverse musical background allows him to move comfortably between notated and improvised traditions while adapting to the unique demands of every ensemble. As a music director and leader, he values creating positive rehearsal environments where musicians not only learn the notes on the page but also develop effective practice habits, musical independence, and the ability to share the love of making music together.
