Emi Yining Sun is an interdisciplinary artist, game designer, and educator based in Los Angeles and Beijing, whose practice explores experimental games, interactive storytelling, and play. She holds an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts and a BFA in General Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Sun is the director of the independent game MeMoMi, MeMoMi Remake and the animated short Piano Hand. Her work has been exhibited and screened at international festivals, exhibitions, and showcases.
