Amber Young

Amber (she/her) works as a financial analyst and senior coordinator at CalArts. Her responsibilities include purchasing, budgeting, and administrative support.

 

Prior to joining CalArts, Amber was an ORISE fellow at the FDA, Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) for four years where she conducted web updates on the homepage and newsroom, as well as wrote content for the Health Effects section of the website. In addition, Amber developed and led communications announcements for regulatory communications shared to the public and tobacco industry stakeholders.

 

Amber earned her M.A. in Applied Cognitive Psychology: User Experience from Claremont Graduate University and her B.S. in Biology of Global Health from Georgetown University. In Amber’s free time, she enjoys practicing aerial arts (the aerial hoop/Lyra in particular), knitting and crocheting, and attending concerts.
