The Patty Disney Center for Life and Work
The Patty Disney Center for Life and Work (CLW) at CalArts provides a variety of resources for students and alumni to help them chart their artistic paths and sustain themselves as creative leaders in the world. The center empowers CalArtians to reach their potential through professional development, recruitment opportunities, and signature recruitment events. Opportunities include workshops, information sessions, and a robust internship and mentorship program.
To increase hands-on learning opportunities for aspiring under-represented creatives at CalArts, CLW has developed the Bridge to Industry Fellows Program.
This six-month program curates content and engagement opportunities such as student mentorship and networking, company-sponsored info sessions, and access to student portfolios and resumes, specifically for industry partners with students awarded an industry-sponsored scholarship.
CalArts partners with companies that support student scholarships, like The Walt Disney Company, to provide students with opportunities and access to a more inclusive and diverse creative industry.
