The Patty Disney Center for Life and Work (CLW) at CalArts is proud to support, educate, and empower alumni as they design and discover individualized careers.
CLW helps alumni maintain momentum and acquire skills and experiences relating to their pursuit of jobs, gigs, internships, apprenticeships, residencies, fellowships, grant funding, crowdfunding, scholarships, further education, exchange opportunities, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. CLW partners with alumni eager to connect with, mentor, or impart knowledge to students.
Alumni fine-tune documents and communications with CLW including resumes, CVs, cover letters, portfolios, business plans, proposals, essays, artist biographies, and artist statements. CLW also works with alumni to enhance their websites, LinkedIn profiles, social media presences, pitch decks, branding, and marketing.
Additionally, alumni hone strategies with CLW to balance life and work, network effectively and authentically, and excel in a variety of industries and contexts across the arts and the globe.
