Stuart Smith is a graphic designer living and working in Los Angeles. He is currently the Director of Creative Services at CalArts and was Visiting Faculty in the School of Art from 2008 to 2022. 

Stuart previously held positions with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum and the design firm Green Dragon Office. His work has been exhibited in the Czech Republic, France, Spain and the U.S. and has been recognized by the AIGA, the Art Directors Club, the Type Directors Club, American Association of Museums, American Museum Alliance, American Association of University Presses and the University and College Designers Association.
