Rose Andersen is a writer, academic and currently working towards an MA in Clinical Psychology. Her debut memoir, The Heart and Other Monsters, about the life and death of her younger sister, is now available from Bloomsbury. 

She received BA in Liberal Arts at Sarah Lawrence College and her MFA in Creative Writing (18’) at California Institute of the Arts where she was awarded the CalArts Emi Kuriyama Thesis Prize. She is published in The Cut, Glamour, The California Sunday, Lit Hub, and Crime Reads among others.
