Edgar Fabián Frías is a multidisciplinary artist, psychotherapist, educator, curator, and brujx based in Los Angeles. Their work encompasses installation, photography, video art, sound, sculpture, textiles, performance, and community organizing. As a nonbinary, Wixárika, and Latinx artist, they delve into themes of resistance, resiliency, and radical imagination through the lenses of Indigenous Futurism, spirituality, play, pedagogy, and queer aesthetics.

Frías holds an MFA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley (2022), an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling focusing on Interpersonal Neurobiology and Somatic Psychotherapy from Portland State University, and dual BA degrees in Psychology and Studio Art from UC Riverside. Their work has been exhibited at prestigious institutions, including the Vincent Price Art Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, and MOCA Jacksonville. Their multidisciplinary practices have been featured in Cosmopolitan, ELLE UK, Los Angeles Times, and Hyperallergic publications.
 
Frías creates transformative spaces that challenge colonial paradigms and envision new possibilities for healing and collective flourishing through their unique integration of psychotherapy, ancestral wisdom, and contemporary art practices.
