Ben is a creative director, designer, and educator whose work explores typographic expression across a wide range of media – from motion graphics in film and television to visual identities for cultural and corporate institutions.

An Emmy Award-winner, he has designed title sequences and documentary graphics for platforms such as HBO, Apple TV+, Disney, Hulu, and Netflix, and created commercial work for brands like TikTok, Meta, Adobe, Samsung, and Walmart. His design and writing have been featured in publications like Slanted, Idea, and Artforum, and his work is part of the permanent collection at LACMA.

Ben is also a type designer and releases retail fonts through his foundry Abstract Office. He created the logo and type family for Amazon’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” and the institutional super-family “McBean” for California Institute of the Arts, where he teaches type and motion.
