Benjamin Woodlock is a creative director, designer, and educator whose work centers on typography. He has crafted identities and motion graphics for a variety of brands, from film and television shows to corporate and cultural institutions.

An Emmy-nominated title designer for HBO’s “Watchmen”, he has recently created title sequences for Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan”, Disney’s “Haunted Mansion”, Apple TV’s “The Problem with Jon Stewart”, “Omnivore”, and “Sunny”. His commercial work includes graphics for brands including Meta, TikTok, Adobe, Samsung and Walmart. His work has been exhibited at LACMA as part of the permanent collection.

Ben is also a type designer and releases retail fonts through his foundry Abstract Office. He created the logo and type family for Amazon’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” and the institutional super-family “McBean” for California Institute of the Arts, where he has taught type and motion since 2015.
