Viewing

Moving Image Collection items may be viewed in the Film Services viewing area, in classrooms with A/V equipment, or in the Bijou Theater.

Viewing Area

13 Viewing Stations:
Stations 1-3 – DVD & VHS (all region), Laserdisc.
Stations 4-6,11-13 – Blu-ray & DVD (all region).
Stations 7-10 – DVD & VHS (NTSC)

Group Viewing Room
Seats up to 10.  Schedule with Film Services staff.
The group viewing room accommodates Blu-ray, DVD & VHS (all region), MiniDV and Laserdisc. Appropriate cables can be
checked out from the Circulation Desk to connect a laptop.

A/V Equipment Carts & Projectors

Faculty may borrow portable A/V equipment carts and digital projectors for classroom use. Please schedule with the Film Services staff. Students may arrange with their instructor for in-classroom presentations, since equipment is not loaned to students. Please check with the Film Services Manager if we do not have the equipment you need on a cart.

TV Carts – 5 carts
Every cart:     DVD & VHS (NTSC)
Some carts:   DVD (all region), Mini-DV & Laserdisc

Projector carts – 7 carts
Every cart:     Blu-ray & DVD (all region), Speakers
Some carts:   Blu-ray (all region), DVD (all region), VHS (all region), Mini-DV

Bijou Theater


The campus projection theater seats 120 and may be scheduled for classes, visiting artists and other presentations by faculty, students, staff and alumni. See Bijou Theater for more information.
