Information & Responsibilities

The Data Coordinator supports the data needs of all Enrollment Management Offices (Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment Management).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•    Edits, codes and enters data per established protocol.
•    Runs reports and completes basic analysis.
•    Formats datasets to create standardized reports
•    Imports data into Admissions database from external sources.
•    Resolves system duplicates and performs regular checks of Admissions databases.
•    Coordinates the daily import of data from Admissions database (Campus Management/Slate) to Institute SIS (Ellucian Colleague).
•    Assists in development and maintains documentation for Enrollment Management processes.
•    Troubleshoots systems issues and elevates complex issues to manager for resolution.
•    Serves as a backup for reception desk in Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office.
•    Assists all Enrollment offices (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Success, and International Students and Programs) with data processing as needed.
•    Provides administrative or event support as needed.
•    Other duties as assigned.

•    Solid understanding of data procedures and databases.
•    Excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
•    Strong administrative, organizational, and time management abilities.
•    Willingness and ability to learn new programs.
•    Ability to work independently on import files and data projects.
•    Detail oriented.
•    An optimistic attitude; friendly and outgoing personality.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication.
•    Ability to work successfully with others.
•    Ability to stay focused in a busy office environment.
•    Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•    2-3 years of data entry or similar experience is required.
•    2-3 years of administration/coordination experience is preferred.
•    Advanced computer software knowledge: Google Apps Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
•    Experience using Colleague SIS preferred.
