Private Reporting Options
CalArts provides a variety of accessible ways for community members to report and voice concerns about alleged discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct and retaliation. Reporting is the best way to make sure an individual receives the resources, support and accommodations available at CalArts and in Valencia more broadly.
In addition, communication about issues of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct and retaliation can help prevent such behavior. Information included in reports from community members can illuminate patterns of behavior, systemic issues and immediate threats to community safety.
Any student, staff, faculty and/or third party that has experienced sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and/or retaliation at CalArts or during a CalArts program is encouraged to file a report with the Office of Community Rights and Responsibilities. Reports can be submitted online, in person, over the phone, and by email.
