The Office of Student Experience at CalArts provides a variety of student support and advocacy services, including career services, personal counseling, special events and activities, and student-sponsored clubs and organizations. 

The Office of Student Experience (OSE) also offers assistance to students with disabilities and addresses issues pertaining to student rights and responsibilities, including Title IX. Student Experience additionally seeks to assist students with transitions, from adjusting as a new student to the CalArts community to preparing for a career post-CalArts. The staff is dedicated to helping students deal with challenges and problems in all aspects of their lives.

Students are responsible for abiding by the community standards, policies and regulations outlined in this document. Failure to read, or being unaware of Institute policy is not a valid excuse when allegedly violating CalArts regulations.

Project Assistance Grants

Student Experience handles the application process for several project assistance grants. Registered students who have unmet financial need and need assistance with the completion of a project are eligible for these grants. For more information, please visit the Project Assistance Grants page.
