Apply Now for Fall 2020

New CalArts Students

Once you pay your tuition deposit, it will take approximately five days to get your CalArts credentials that you will need in order to login to your CalArts email account. You will be able to access the housing application through your CalArts email through the below steps for returning students. 

Returning Students  

You can access the housing application through your CalArts email account. Once you are logged into your email, in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the square icon with nine dots in it. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the multicolored symbol that says "Residence" to fill out the housing application. 

How do I submit my housing deposit payment?

  1. Electronic Check from your checking or savings account (no processing fee), or credit card (Mastercard, VISA or Discover, with a 2.55% processing fee) at: calarts.edu/housing-deposit
  2. Bank Wire: Wire transfer instructions can be found at: calarts.edu/tuition-and-financial-aid/payment-and-student- accounts/payment-options. If paying by wire transfer, please be sure to check with your bank for the cost of the wire. The bank usually deducts the cost of the wire from the amount of money that you send, which in some instances may cause your payment to be short. Wire transfers may take up to 10 business days to arrive in the CalArts account. Please reference the student name and I.D. number in the wire. 

The $350 housing deposit payment must be received to the Institute by May 8, 2020, at 4 pm PST as the Accounting office closes at 4 pm.
