Dear Faculty and Staff,

As a reminder, for the 2021-2022 academic year, CalArts requires that all faculty and staff be fully vaccinated by Aug. 1, 2021, to be prepared for the start of the semester. 

At this time, just over half of faculty and staff have submitted their vaccine verification or a request for exemptions. To prepare for a safe reopening we need all faculty and staff who have not yet submitted their information to do so as soon as possible.  

• Please use this link to verify your vaccination. The process takes less than a minute.
• Vaccination exemptions are available for medical or religious reasons by completing the Vaccination Exemption Form.
• Free vaccinations are available in the Los Angeles area and across the county. 

It will take all of us working together to bring our community of artists back together. Ensuring we have a fully vaccinated campus is an important step in making our return as safe as possible.
