Please note that you must complete all Admissions Requirements as well as the audition or portfolio requirements to be considered for admission.

Application Guidelines (BFA and MFA)

BFA Creative Producing and Management

BFA applicants interested in Creative Producing and Management apply through the Design and Production Program. Admission to the BFA Design and Production program is based on portfolio review and a personal interview.

MFA Creative Producing and Management

MFA applicants for Creative Producing and Management should follow the portfolio requirements for one of the following specializations. Please note that portfolios for the Creative Producing and Management program must be submitted online via the portfolio section of the application . Applicants will be contacted if an interview is requested by Faculty. Not all candidates will be invited to interview. Interviews may be held by phone, although an in-person interview is preferred when possible.

Please do not mail hard copies and do not email your portfolio to the School of Theater. Doing so will cause a delay in the review of your work. See the individual programs for specific requirements.

Please submit all materials by the regular application deadline. After the deadline, we will continue to receive applications on a rolling basis until programs close.
